Job Description

We are currently looking for a Part Time 38 Surveillance Officer to join our Treasure Valley/Artesian Surveillance team located at the Artesian Casino. This is a 3rd shift position. Summary: Ensures the safety of tribal assets through constant observation of all assigned areas. Responsibilities: * Provides first class customer service to both internal and external customers and responds to inquiries, compliments, and/or complaints with professionalism, courtesy, and efficiency * Completes all training and development requirements and participates in continuing education opportunities * Works in a collaborative and supportive manner to support the productivity and safety of the work area, team members and customers of all types - Maintains a clean, organized work area and ensures a safe environment - Maintains and promotes professionalism - Punctual and consistent in meeting start time, work schedule, attendance and other assigned work time metrics - Adheres to Chickasaw Nation dress code standards * Maintains knowledge of and follows all rules, regulations, policies and guidelines for assigned area * Prepares incident reports to establish video evidence and perform frequent audits to protect the Chickasaw Nation's employees and assets * Updates and reviews current list of barred and banned individuals ensuring strict compliance * Operates a closed-circuit television system to monitor gaming and money-handling activity to ensure proper procedures are followed * Performs all other duties as assigned Competencies: Essential: * Able to follow instructions, both written and oral * Able to adhere to all scheduling and attendance requirements * Focus on a single task for pro-longed periods of time * Honesty, truthfulness, reliability, accountability * Able to read, understand, apply, and retain knowledge of Chickasaw Nation, departmental, divisional and all other rules, regulations, policies, procedures and guidelines * Define problems, collect data and establish facts * Able to verbally communicate in a professional and positive manner with other team members, departments, guests and management * Prepares role specific reports Skills: Essential: * Must be familiar with the Microsoft Office Suite of products * Accurately type 25 words per minute Experience: Essential: * No prior experience required Education: Essential: * High School, GED or Equivalent Credentials: Essential: * Pass gaming background check * Pass Blackjack Test with 70 or higher * Gaming license or permit as required by assigned position Working Conditions: Essential: * May work where cigarette smoking occurs * Bright and Flashing lights * Potential exposure to blue and or white light * Communications phone, computer * Communications written, verbal * Interacts with clinical, support, technical, professional or management staff in a variety of settings and situations * Pass pre-employment drug test * Use computer up to 100% of shift * Manual dexterity * Operate normal office equipment * Sitting up to 100% of shift * Constantly work in small or cramped areas * Visual acuity for detail, distance, color, depth perception * May work day shift * May work evening shift * May work holidays * May work night shift * May be on-call * May work rotating shifts * May work weekend shift Training *It is the responsibility of each employee to attend required training for their position or profession as determined by their line of support (LOS) or the leadership of the Chickasaw Nation.
