Litigation Associate

Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Litigation Associate to support our legal team in managing a diverse caseload. The ideal candidate will assist in all phases of litigation, from initial case preparation through trial, ensuring effective communication with clients and thorough management of legal documents and strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in all phases of litigation, including trial preparation and court filings.
  • Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
  • Manage case files and ensure all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates and gather necessary information.
  • Develop litigation strategies in collaboration with senior attorneys.
  • Conduct evidence analysis and legal research to support case arguments.
  • Negotiate settlements and assist in mediation processes.
  • Handle the discovery process, including the collection and review of evidence.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Active bar membership in Washington State.
  • 3+ years of experience in litigation or related field.
  • Strong client communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in case management and legal drafting.
  • Knowledge of civil procedure and court rules.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
