Minimum 1+ years Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver 1:1 or small-group academic and behavioral support under the guidance of teachers and school staff
• Assist students with daily activities, transitions, and engagement in classroom participation
• Implement behavior support plans and individualized education programs (IEPs) as required
• Support students mobility, supervision, and personal care needs to foster a safe and inclusive learning environment
• Promote respect, safety, and positive social interactions among students

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years old
• Successful completion of TB testing as per school requirements
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting when necessary
• Must hold current clearances or be willing to obtain them prior to start date

Preferred Experience:

• Prior work in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Training or certification in CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention), PMT, or RBT highly regarded but not mandatory
• Demonstrated reliability, patience, and ability to collaborate effectively in team settings
