Hayden Medical Center located in Phoenix, Arizona. Elevate your career by joining a well-established Hematology/Oncology program dedicated to treating Veterans with both malignant and benign hematologic conditions, as well as solid tumors. Your role will include providing specialized consultations for inpatients and outpatients, participating in committees, engaging in quality assurance initiatives, and helping our facility achieve set performance standards. A strong background in diagnosing, staging, and treating these disorders is essential. Additionally, teaching and mentoring medical students and residents will be a key aspect of this role. Candidates must qualify for an academic appointment at the affiliated University of Arizona School of Medicine - Phoenix. The medical center is conveniently situated in the heart of Phoenix, making it easily accessible.

Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (Minimal Call)

**Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP) Details: This position qualifies for the EDRP, which offers student loan repayment assistance. Candidates must meet specific eligibility criteria as per VHA policy and submit their EDRP application within four months of starting. Approval, award amounts (up to $200,000), and eligibility periods (one to five years) will be determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after a thorough review of the application. Previous participants are not eligible to apply for the EDRP incentive.
