Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage freight shipments from pickup through delivery
• Source and secure carrier capacity for customer freight
• Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers and customers
• Dispatch and communicate with drivers in real time
• Negotiate rates with carriers and customers
• Track and proactively update shipments
• Resolve transportation, routing, and scheduling issues efficiently
• Manage load coverage, scheduling, operational support, and shipment execution
• Maintain accurate load notes, records, and shipment updates
• Provide exceptional customer service and communication
• Support daily trucking, brokerage, and logistics operations in a high-volume environment
• Assist in growing customer relationships and freight opportunities

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in freight brokerage, dispatch, trucking, or logistics operations
• Strong understanding of transportation operations, freight movement, and industry terminology
• Experience using load boards such as DAT and carrier sourcing platforms
• Experience with TMS systems and ELD platforms preferred
• Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency
• Dependable, professional, and solution-oriented mindset
• Ability to remain calm and execute under pressure
• Entertainment/show freight experience is a strong plus
• Existing customer relationships or a book of business is a major plus
