Experienced Hair Stylist – Chair Rental or Commission Opportunity

Position Overview

We are seeking talented and motivated licensed hair stylists for two flexible opportunities:

• Chair Rental (Independent Contractor): Ideal for experienced stylists with an existing clientele who want to run their own business.
• Commission-Based Employment: Perfect for newer stylists looking to build and grow their client base with support.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional hair services including cuts, color, styling, and treatments
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional workstation
• Manage client appointments and payments (independent contractors)
• Deliver excellent customer service and client experience
• Follow all salon policies and health/safety regulations
• Supply your own tools, color products, and styling materials

Requirements

• Valid Massachusetts Cosmetology or Barber License
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Self-motivated with a professional attitude
• Ability to manage and grow a client base (for renters)
• Passion for hair trends, education, and ongoing skill development

Chair Rental Details

• Rental Fee: $200/week (may vary based on space usage)
• Deposit: One month required
• Includes: Station, utilities, Wi-Fi, backbar, and towels
• Status: Independent contractor (responsible for own taxes and insurance)
