Opportunity:
Advanced Practitioners - Hospitalist/Emergency

Job Details:

• Join the Emergency Department team at a Level I Trauma Center in a high-acuity academic setting
• Open to Family Nurse Practitioners (FNP) and Physician Assistants (PA)
• Full-time position with rotating day and night shifts
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients presenting with a wide range of acute illnesses, injuries, and trauma conditions across all triage levels
• Perform procedures within scope including suturing, splinting/casting, and minor procedures
• Formulate treatment plans and coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams
• Determine appropriate consultation or escalation of care when needed
• Practice in a fast-paced, dynamic clinical environment with opportunities for continued procedural and clinical skill development
• Unrestricted State of Connecticut Medical License required (or eligible)
• Minimum of 1+ years of experience in an emergency medicine or related setting required
• Experience with acute care assessment preferred
• Access to mentorship, orientation programs, and robust on-demand learning platform including CME
