Dump Truck Driver (CDL) Tanker Endorsement Required

AC Moate Industries is seeking experienced and reliable Dump Truck Drivers with a Tanker Endorsement to join our growing asphalt paving team. We are committed to delivering high-quality work while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.

Job Responsibilities

Safe Vehicle Operation

• Safely operate dump trucks in compliance with traffic laws and company policies
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicles are in proper working condition

Loading & Unloading

• Load and unload asphalt materials safely
• Ensure proper weight distribution and secure loads for transport

Tanker Operations

• Transport sealcoat materials using tanker endorsement
• Inspect and maintain tanker equipment to meet safety standards

Documentation & Reporting

• Complete accurate driver logs, inspection reports, and required paperwork
• Report accidents, incidents, or mechanical issues promptly

Communication

• Communicate clearly with dispatch, supervisors, and crew members
• Follow assigned routes, schedules, and job instructions

Safety Compliance

• Follow all safety regulations and procedures
• Properly use personal protective equipment (PPE)

Equipment Maintenance

• Perform routine maintenance checks (fluids, tires, general condition)
• Notify supervisor of repair or maintenance needs

Customer Service

• Maintain a professional and courteous attitude with clients and jobsite personnel
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials

Qualifications

• Valid CDL with Tanker Endorsement
• Proven experience as a dump truck driver
• Clean driving record
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations
• Ability to operate heavy equipment and perform basic vehicle maintenance
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness and ability to travel out of state as needed

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry materials
• Ability to shovel as required
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
• Good physical stamina and agility
