2nd Shift Shipper – 6mo+ Contract – Marlboro, MA

Second Shift hours are 2:30PM – 11:00PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Fulfill domestic sales orders by packing the goods using correct packing material and procedures assuring all appropriate shipping labels and documentation is present and the correct carrier and terms are use.
• Process large domestic orders using pallets. Will wrap and strap orders and collaborate with dispatch for courier pick up.
• Achieve/maintain dangerous goods (DG/UN3480, UN3481) certification and follow all guidelines for DG shipments.
• Contribute to DC cost savings initiatives by identifying opportunities for savings within the shipping function.
• Complete all other duties and activities as requested by DC manager or supervisor.
• Report all interruptions to the cell lead or supervisor

Basic Qualification and Skills:

• 3-5 years shipping experience preferred.
• Able to work in a fast paced, customer driven atmosphere
• Able to work independently as well as with a team
• Strong time management and prioritization skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
